If you are a nurturing, caring, compassionate person who is looking to make a difference in someone's life; the challenging and rewarding field of home care may be for you. Our program is designed to teach you the basic skills needed to help clients continue to live in their home with some caring support from you. The course consists of lecture and hands-on training in a classroom setting. You will learn bathing, safely moving patients, managing daily activities, nutrition, etc. This course will prepare you to work one-on-one with clients in their home as a Home Care Aide/Companion.

Train for a high-demand career in less than three months! At the end of this program, you'll be well-prepared to take the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Competency Exam and enroll in the Nurse Aide Registry for Pennsylvania. Within one year of program completion, certified nurse aides are eligible for 100% reimbursement if employed in a long-term care facility, including Redeemer Health's Lafayette or St. Joseph Manor.
